Today was the first day we actually did something touristy. We have found a place to live, figured out a couple of important things, and are slowly becoming familiar with the city, so we decided to check out the shopping district of SOHO. We went ahead and saved our feet for the trip & bought a day pass for the tube. Its a breeze to get around, but the scale of the city is quite mind boggling. After buying a couple of bare essentials, we headed to West Minister Abbey, Parliament, & stopped into the National Gallery only making it through a couple of the rooms before heading to the Dali Universe Exhibit. Unfortunately the exhibit entrance was a tall tale sign that the exhibit itself would not be worth the ₤12/person they were asking for...so we skipped it & shall return later...maybe. After sandwiches in the hostel lounge (lets keep it cheap!) we are in for the evening and ready for a good shower & good nights rest.
