So we didn’t take a honeymoon officially, so we’ve decided to take our first trip together in a long while and travel to Ireland for Easter Break. Matt picked a cute little cottage on an the Man of Aran Island on the west coast of Ireland where apparently a film was made. We leave tomorrow morning and I’ve included our journey itinerary so you can see how round-about-way we’re going to get there:
Saturday, April 7th
5:00 am - Taxi to Airport
7:00 am - Flight to Dublin
9:20 am - Arrive in Dublin
10:00 am - Bus or taxi to train station (depending on time issue)
11:10 am - Train to Galway
1:51 pm - Arrive in Galway
5:00 pm - Bus to Ros a Mhil Quay
6:00 pm - Ferry to Inis Mor
7:00 pm - Taxi to Man of Aran Cottage
Tuesday, April 10th
8:00 am - Taxi to Ferry Stop
8:30 am - Ferry to Ros a Mhil Quay
9:30 am - Bus to Galway
1:10 pm - Train to Dublin
4:05 pm - Bus to Airport
7:55 pm - Flight to London
9:15 pm - Tube to Flaxman Lodge
10:15 pm - Arrive Home
There will be pictures in the near future and I’m sure we’ll have a great time...considering we make all the connections!! Love you all and hope everyone has an adventurous Easter!! We’re missing the cascarones and everyone here just does chocolate easter bunnies or eggs....not the entire basket of goodies. Matt will be leaving his computer at home and we will be a little secluded from everything (and everyone), so more than likely we’ll be away from email and other modern technologies throughout our entire trip.
