Today we braced ourselves for the first 'real' day of snow. We woke up to a clear and cold morning and listened all day to the weather reports of a 'russian' snow heading our way. We previously made plans to go to dinner with some friend, so it took Matt some convincing to get bundled up and out the door. It really wasn't too bad and we were glad to be out of the flat for a nice evening. As we were on the train the snow started to fall quite a bit and continues even now. We had a good time scooping up handfuls of white snow off of cars and even the train platform to kindly toss it at eachother.
Tomorrow is another workday and we are greeted with another month under our belts here in London. We've got a lot of things to do for the upcoming year. We hope to do a little more traveling around this area and get some really good pictures for our album. Matt turns the big 3-0 this summer so I think he deserves a mini-holiday. We NEVER do anything for his birthday and now that we're here there aren't any friends or family to help him throw a big party for...so we've decided to celebrate! We'll see where we end up going but we can at least dream. I've got my 10 year high school reunion this year and am trying to help get the ball rolling on organizing it. With technology the way it is, it is probably alot easier than it would have been 10 years ago. We can't promise it'll be anything big or amazing, but we'll at least give people a reason to head back to Uvalde for one weekend.
Well, that's all for now and enjoy!
