A beautiful rainbow outside our window...encompassing the church and the pub in one swoop!
It was a good weekend this time around with a balance of sunshine and rain, conversations with family, updates of websites, and alot done on both our ends. We started off on Saturday sleeping in and then going out for some good ole Thai food for lunch at Busaba and then Angels & Demons. With the wind picking up and the rain starting to find its way to London, we decided to spend the remainder of the day back at home.
Today was a dreary day of drizzle on and off and our plans to venture on a city walk around an unfamiliar neighborhood was postponed due to the weather. We instead opted for watching a couple of movies, tracking all our bills and accounts, and cooking some new meals from the slim pickings of our kitchen. I'm one step further along getting my high school reunion off the ground and anticipating a great event to take place in my sleepy old town.
Overall it was a great weekend and I don't think either of us are quite ready for yet another week in May to pass us by!! We anticipate what we'll possibly do for next Monday's holiday and hope the weather will be bright, warm, and shiny enough for a picnic on the common...we can only dream!
Love, KayDawn
