Today we ventured once again to the Brunswick Center Medical Clinic. After going on Friday to “register for a General Practitioner” we were given papers and told to return today...so we did. There was a little confusion if I was qualified since I was not officially contributing to NHS through employment, so after a couple of phone calls we were proven right. Anyway, we filled out the basic of forms and turned it in with copies of our passports and visas and told to call tomorrow to schedule an appointment with the GP. Matt has started classes today and the future of a possible break even for an appointment looks bleak. I guess that is what you get for free healthcare....a whole lot of lines, confusion, waiting, returning, re-scheduling, and then possibly a solution. Let’s just hope that we won’t need their services in the end.
